Learning while you sleep

Is it possible to learn and/or retain information while you sleep?

I've gotten into the habit of listening to audio books when I am lying down for sleep. It helps me fall asleep, and its a relaxing time to listen to books.

I usually remember hearing it for a little bit 20-30 minutes normally. But, when I wake up the whole audiobook has played. My latest audio-book is Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell

Sometimes when I wake up the earphones have fallen off due to movement while sleeping, and sometimes they are still on when I wake up.

When I listen to the audiobooks on consecutive nights, I usually just start an hour or so after the previous days start, even though it has played fully during my sleep.

Is it possible that I have learned what I was listening to while sleeping and the information has become part of my psyche rather than part of my memory that information can be recalled verbatim?

I doubt it. Sleep is your brain's time to sort information and make sense of shit, the last thing it wants to do is take on more.
