Well, technically limewire is just a software that uses torrents (which aren't legal either, if they're allowing free access to copyrighted material).

But no, limewire isn't legal, but you're chances of getting caught with either limewire or other torrents is extremely small.

I didn't mean to imply torrents were legal.
However Limewire doesn't use torrents. It's strictly P2P. Unless things have changed. It's been many many years since I've used an actual P2P program.

Soulseek FTW.  Anything you've never been able to find is on soulseek. Most diverse music sharing program I've come in contact with.

You pay for it one way or another too, either 30 a month, or enough ads on your comp to equal that.

Yeah, limewire is a thing of the past.
Download utorrent and go to www.isohunt.com

It's much, much better to get entire discographies instead of single tracks at a time. Not even comparable really.

Using a combo of isohunt, btjunkie, demonoid, mininova ( if you havent tried the latter 3 they are great torrent sites ) and soulseek I can find anything I need.



but blogs man, phew, ten albums in ten minutes, fuckin nuts.

Google.
Type in some artists you wanna find and type in their name and mediafire or divshare or another direct download storage site.
Then look around. Find some blogs you like. Also most blogs will have links to similar blogs.

Limewire is a great alternative to having to go out and search for viruses to put on your computer. Since it does it for you, its no work all profit.
