As long as it grows out of the ground and isn't abused, they don't mind so much. At the same time I'm sure they would prefer if I didn't.

My mom just seems to understand that prohibition doesn't work and just opens up a black market so I too am lucky.

True, but I am in one of the toughest programs in Canada at one of the best schools for it, and am doing quite fine in my classes, so I have proof that things are going smoothly.

If I start failing shit, there's cause for concern.

You're confusing 'failing at academia' with 'having a drug problem.' One can do great in school, and still be an addict.

Lol I guess you're right.  Generally speaking though, it's tough to succeed in something like electrical engineering when you're twisting your brain up in drugs all the time.

In any case, I do use drugs responsibly IMO, so it shouldn't be an issue.

my best friend attributes his graduation from school a year early to being addicted to meth for 6months  :shrug:

mom asked when I was 14 if I had tried pot, I said yes, I'm a pot smoker
I was tripping on acid at the time she asked, I wonder what raised her suspicions

she told me to be careful, dont be an idiot with drugs, dont bring it in
the house and if I'm ever out fucked up and need a ride to call

she's remarkably cool about anything when you're honest

My mom first caught me smoking on the front porch when I was 19.  Oops.  Didn't think that a Cosby sweater would hold dope smoke that well. :rolleyes:  She was mainly pissed about me smoking on the front porch more than anything.  She's told me all about her past drug use (flower child type), but she can't do them anymore because of the legality.  She mentioned once that she did too much acid back in the day.

I remember once I got stoned and voluntarily did a bunch of shit that needed doing around the house.  She commented on how out of character it was, and I told her that I was stoned.  She replied that maybe I should stay stoned more often. :lol:  She also knows about my occasional hallucinagen use.  She finds it weird that shrooms have inspired me academically as a biological interest.  I'm a third year straight A college student.  As long as you don't rub it in their faces and keep your shit together, parents are pretty cool about the whole thing. 

My dad used to score bud for me about the same time my mom smelled smoke on my sweater.  He only wanted to make sure that I didn't get addicted to some crack or meth.  (trashy drugs)

My parent know and are accepting of the fact that i smoke and use the occasional opiate. Of course im 22 and old enough that they respect my decisions, they would just prefer that i dont use around them.

My parents both know, they both used to do a lot of drugs so they understand.

They don't necessarily approve... they don't like me doing it during the school year since I'm in college and if I get busted with possession in AZ its a felony and I'm fucked. 

But yea... they know and aren't against it, they just kinda warn me a lot about the "dangers"

my mom told me that she used to babysit a lot as a teenager and after the kids went to bed she would dose a few hits of blotter and write for hours and iv watched my dad smoke meth :meff:  so neither can really give shit to me lol:shrug:

They knew I smoked at an early age. During high school, they busted me a couple times for growing in my closet.



They never really cared enough to the point that they'd discipline me for it, but they definitely voice their opinions.

Basically, whenever my grades are low, I get bitched at for my use, and when I'm not fucking up in school, they could care less.

My parents stopped caring when I was like 16 years old. They know I take all sorts of drugs and psychedelics.
My dad even took a bud of my howmegrown once.  :ganja:
