"Hippie" is a pretty loose label, and it can encompass a lot of different types of people.  I could be described as a hippie because I like to go to festivals, keep my hair long, and do psychedelics.  I have what could be considered countercultural values, but some of the flakey, poorly thought-out views of some fellow hippies tend to get on my nerves.  As for Alex Grey and Shpongle, they rock.  Why wouldn't I like them?  Also, I'm not into body hair.  Even if I was, I can't seem to grow any chest hair, so I have a tattoo there instead.
