Thinking about joining Greenpeace....?

I mean you know.... I can't stand by and let this world go to shit. I have to do something. I don't know what brought me to this decision. I want to belong to something. Something important. Right now I feel like a loner, just not fitting in anywhere. I was thinking about starting a music career but heeeeeeeeeeey that shit is fucking hard. At least from what I;ve heard..

(mmm guess it I am tripping. But fuck, it's not that strong. I feel like I insulted the mushroom spirit. I took about 14grams all within 1 week. Yeah I know, fuckin stupid. hahahah I have no mushrooms now :frown: :frown: P :frown: :frown: :frown:


but seriously... fuck graphic design... I want to change the fucking world. I'm kind of scared too... What the hell will they put me through.

Yo when I made this decision, all of the mushroom spirits gave me a thumbs up. These guys are fucking cool.

cool man.  if its changing the world your into, tehres not much to worry about in regards to what they'll put you through.  ive also contemplated joining somthing and giving up everythign i have to do so.  but for now im too greedy and selfish :frown:

Oh god please don't that organization started out with good ideas, but its turned into a beast that no longer cares about doing their research and educating their activists.

One of the original guys who started Greenpeace left out of discust by how he saw radical anti-corporate activists take his beloved group over.

Greenpeace sounds nice and all, but if you do some digging you will see these guys often focus on something because they know it will bring them money, its not about whats right but whats popular and will lure investement.

Please for the love of all that is good don't join them, there are so many other non-radical groups which are smart and do actually some good.

I fully agree with Thor. Greenpeace is evil. They do some popular things but don't really try to solve problems. Nuclear energy, GM food(which could save millions of life's in Africa, Greenpeace already made one African government ban GM food) and the Brent Spar are some major Greenpeace failures. They only tell you what's wrong, but don't bring solutions; the want wind energy, but are against windmills because windmills kill birds.

Don't join Greenpeace!

Maybe...EarthFirst. They are ultra radical and have no true orginization, just grass roots mokney-wrenching and stuff.

I do not think it is fair to consider EF! terrorists. Their modus operandi is basically preventing natural areas from being cleared or destroyed by physical blocking (i.e. treesits and baracdes). It is simply a defensive move, not an offensive one. Considering they have never killed anyone nor intend to, the label "terrorist" or "eco-terrorist" does not apply. You can call them reckless or stupid or wrong, but not terrorists.

Now, the Earth Liberation Front can be considered to be using terrorist tactics - they are offensive and intend to terrorize.
