ok so i have some wbs and im soaking it right now in some water and coffee when do i put the gypsum in?

You don't need to put gypsum in your WBS jars.  People sometimes put gypsum in their bulk substrates for added calcium (also affects pH levels).

Depending on what you're using for your bulk substrate, you may not need gypsum.  I use straight horse manure and that's all I use.  Horse manure works amazingly and it's free and you don't have to add stuff to it!

Gypsum can be added to the soak at one teaspoon per gallon of soak water. Its benefits comes from the calcium and sulfur it supplies to the myc, but also from the fact that gypsum prevents grains from sticking after PC'ing.

Adding gypsum to bulk subs is a no brainer. I agree that straight hpoo is great, with gypsum added it's even better.

You dont need to but it helps the grains from clumping, just a pinch will do the trick.
