What browser do you use?
    #11069674 -

What web browser do you use?

Internet Explorer?
Firefox?
Google Chrome?

Why do you choose to use this web browser? What are the benefits? Any specifics in your web browser customization (toolbars, etc) that you would like to share?

you didn't include Opera.

but i use firefox because of the ease of plug-ins and extensions.  and they haven't come out with a stable version of chrome native to linux OS yet.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

The Fox, the add-ons make it, basically.  I have one fucking awesome add-on where you can highlight a word, right click, and in the menu in has "Define" option, and if you mouse over it, it brings up a side-menu giving you the definition.

Safari on OS X, Firefox on WIndows.  Chrome is way faster than Firefox, but it is still in it's infancy and doesn't load some pages correctly.

Usually just IE. I'm not too picky, it gets most of the pop ups. The net is the net, I don't need a slew of special features.

What makes fire fox that much better than explorer?

faster browsing, more customization with tons of plug-in support.

you don't think you need the plug-ins, and you don't.  but when you get used to them, it's hard to go without, as there are quite a few really fucking handy ones.

Opera, its like firefox in terms of basic use, but has subtle differences that i prefer. skins look better imo, scrolling is fluid, better tab management (you can save tab sessions, open tabs you've closed, better way of switching between them), better bookmark management, customizable speed dial page that opens with a new tab letts you set shortcuts with previews to a bunch of pages you visit regularly, oh ya tabs also give you prevew windows of the tab which allows for much easier navigation when i have like 50+ tabs open.. there are prob a few other things im forgetting.

I still also use firefox too tho when i need certain plug-ins opera doesn't have.
