help me out! im making curry chicken

i have all the ingridients in a pot simmering
-chicken
-potatoes
-carrots
-onions
-ginger
-garlic
-curry powder
-coconut milk

it tastes like its missing something

help me out!!!

Salt?  My curry almost always lacks salt, I use garlic salt.

Salt! All of that will mean nothing with no salt to bring out the taste, lol.

I always have this same issue with curry; the curry flavors bring so much to the table that it seems to overpower the pallet, and there always seems to be something missing.

100% coconut milk would be far too rich.

I use 1/2 chicken stock, 1/2 coconut milk for my chicken curries.

I assume from the coconut milk that you're trying to make a Thai curry.

You forgot the BASIL! Fresh basil leaves are essential.

Ive never used chicken stock.  :shrug:  Everybody has their own personal 'must haves'...

But dont forget the cock sauce!  :sriracha:
