Nope. But if it's any time at all it's more time than I had. Not that I've ever worked that hard.

This whole topic started off Dana White making a comment he would force Silva to fight Machida if he wanted him to, and to make  the UFC money.  I think it's shitty to force camp members to fight because you want to make a  fight. Not like he doesn't have a deep talent pool to push for  fights.

Anderson is the 185 champion, and could easily retire, or leave the UFC to go where Fedor is, and what a blow if White lost the only man right now who goes back and forth with Fedor as the pound for pound best fighter in the world..

I am shocked White doesn't understand the mentality of Brazilian fighters and their loyalty to each other in these camps after all this time.. That's why I believe you never saw Shogun, and Wanderlei  fight in Pride even though Shogun was in his weight class.

He wants a war of Brazil he is going to get it in Machida Vs Shogun.. Cause for as much a they are loyal  to their camp mates they are brutal to the opposition camps.. :rotfl:

EXACTLY.

When Anderson says Machida is his "brother", it means something.

Wanderli Silva was Mauricio's BEST MAN at his wedding.  Why the HELL would he fight him???

Why would you go after and pursue to conquer the successes of your best friend?

Wanderlei threw his first fight with Arona, everyone in Chute Boxe knew this.  There was no way in hell he was going to climb in that ring and try to physically destroy his best friend in front of millions.

He even hinted to it in many of his interviews following the fight.

If Anderson doesnt want to fight Machida, he should've have to.  I dont care if he lines up and KOs Evans AND Jackson in the same ring.

If he doesnt want to he shouldnt have to, and he shouldn't be forced to deal with any repercussions.

I mean  Rua and Machida don't have a past together, and i think you will see a battle of two proud Brazilians trying to prove who is the best.. But Silva and Machida train with each other preparing each other for fights for the last 4 years. They along with Nog, and a few others created a great  and strong  bonding  team.

White keeps pushing at Anderson to fight Machida you may see an exodus from one of not both, and he looks like an asshole internationally in this sport.

and it wouldn't be the first time...

It would just be a continuation of the lineage of fighters to leave the UFC once they've reached the pinnacle.

I think Anderson realizes he needs to stop flirting with contention in the 205 class, he will probably move back down in weight in order to avoid being forced to fight his friend.

WHich is why i would have loved to have seen Anderson stay at 205, but have the same avoidance of fighting policy that Shogun and Wanderlei did.

Really?

I've never heard that before and given how close their second fight was would never have thought that.

He never outright admit to it, because if he did he'd get in ALOT of trouble with DSE at the time.

But he hinted to it strongly in many interviews following the fight.  He talks about how he never wanted to win the GP belt if it meant he would have to step in Mauricio's way.
