I can't believe what I just did

Joined the Military - and now I'm spazzing out about it, I think I'll get out before I get in too deep. I am so bad at making big decisions, what the fuck was I thinking, but what else is there to do? :facepalm:

Not really my thing, but you'll definitely gain a lot from the military.  You'll be in better shape, if anything.  Once you get past bootcamp I hear they don't treat you like shit as much.  Good luck!

My brother-in-law join the navy for some mechanical shit and was told he would stay stateside.....and Bam! he found out half way through boot camp he was going to Pakistan or Afghanistan before Xmas. 


Some paki spitting in his face on a Kabol streetcorner might be good for him...he is a stumpy, whiney, bitch.

no, that was me talking about the military and yes, at first expect to be treated like shit because your a civilian, it's the worst thing you can possibly be in the military eye's from what I hear, I went to marine cadets which itself was pretty hard for the age but whatever, if you're a hard worker then you're fine but if your a dog fucker they won't like you or me.

It's not uncommon to get cold feet after making a major decision like this. It doesn't mean you necessarily made the wrong choice though. Most people who come out of the military view it as a positive experience overall.

You may get a few snarky comments from the hippie types but I have nothing but respect for the men and women in uniform who protect our way of life. :salute:
