People use them all the time with MMORPGs for stealing accounts or what have you...Careful downloading, you might get logged yourself, and that could be extra bad news.

antivirus will pick most of the ones that have been around for a while up, look on 0day sites or write one yourself (theyre easy!) then it wont be detected.  but i dont really approve of any practical use of a keylogger, what do you want it for?

yup, thats what i'm scared of. also, will it slow down your pc to where it's a noticeable difference?

Your targets antivirus will probably pick up most keyloggers, I recommend  you code one yourself. You will most likely get logged yourself when downloading online.

read a windows api tutorial, then read up on the attachthreadinput() functions, thats really all you need, its a little more complicated but nothing will detect it. still, what are you using it for?

If someone ever brought up something because they keylogged me,

I would never talk to them again.

Also : Stay away, you obviously aren't well informed, and you'll most likely get a virus/keylogger from simply downloading a "keylogger"

Yeah, download one. Pay for it, and check that its reputable. Be very cautious tho because your going to have to disable your antivirus program or it wont work (or you wont be able to keep it a secret.) Most keyloggers will give you histories and screen shots based on what you tell it you want. They are neat.

how many times have you succefuly confronted a woman about her cheating on you and she ACTUALY tells you the truth??!! There is more woman who will deny til they die than fess up.. i agree it's a dirty way of finding out, and if i wasn't with her for so long i'd say see ya later and not even give it a second thought. but 7-8 years and 2 kids is too much for jus a "see ya later".

Listen, im going to give you some advice.

Buy one. Use it for a while and make sure she wont be alerted to it happening.

also

Does she read your shroomery posts? I would bet you $ she does. Think about that for a sec

If you happen to find some shit (like a picture of her with a beer can in her ass hole, or her face covered in some dude's jizz) your going to flip out. Stop, do not confront her right away. You need to prepare for that confrentation both mentally and in a way that protects your interests. You need a good two weeks of preparation to dump her without getting fucked. (think hiding money from the judge, making sure she wont have anything to narc on you for, etc.) That advice can save this from ruining the parts of your life not related to your marriage.

If i ever get married i would stay with her even if she cheats because i gave my word i would. Thats what marriage means to me. That also means im proll not going to get married. laughs. If you do find out something, and decide to stay with her, you have to put even more preparation in to confronting her.

what ever you do, do not go kicking in motel doors, its not the guys fault unless hes a good friend of yours. Really leave him out of this- just saying in advance.

that being said ,also:

when you confront her on her being a cheating whore (if she is) DO NOT ACKNOWLEDGE you obtained information by spying on her. Get creative, and use what you know to find evidence that will appear you wern't looking for. This way she will not feel attacked and is more likely to not cut your testicles off when you tell her your divorcing her (or she wont have additional reasons to ruin the marrage if you decide to try and fix things.)

I hope she's not cheating on you. Chances are you will find out somthing you wont like. She emails a girlfriend bitching about you and you read it your going to get pissed. You have to be prepared to let that go without her knowing you read it. Use the info to make the marriage better.

Conversely you could get lucky and find out she has bi-curious tenancies, or that she bought you a new xbox for your birthday.

Well I don't know what to tell you, 7-8 years with 2 kids and all, but key logging is just stooping down to "their" level :tongue:.

seriously man, ignore everything i said about writing a keylogger, thats an immature sneaky way of going about it. ask her and if youve been with her for 8 years you should know her well enough to be able to tell if shes lying.
