Potency when growing question

i recently grew some mushies, and i was wondering can ur grow the same type of mushies with different potency

hence needing 7g dry in tea for a lvl 2 trip.
could i have grown them weak?

above post makes sense but honestly if you gotta take 7g's dry to hit level 2, perhaps maybe you've got a weak strain or bad genetics. It would take 2-2.5 dry of what I'm growing to hit level 3... I mean cmon those are some weak ass shrooms.

Eat chocolate, like dark chocolate with your shrooms, it'll stretch things out a bit more.

Time to swap that strain out and get a new one, afterall it's the high that counts and not much else other than yeild.

i would say maybe

A) making the tea wrong, perhaps leaving exposed to the heat for too long

B) maybe losing potency in your drying process if you dry em with heat.

or

C) just a crazy psychonaut fiend who has abnormally high natural tolerance built in to shrooms

...

i just don't believe in "weak" cubensis, ive never run across em in my entire life. maybe im just being ignorant. :shrug:

if you have no tolerence then its just a week batch of mushrooms, which will happen from time to time growing from multispore.

Alkoloid content will vary not only from flush to flush but from mushroom to mushroom.

I had tea that was made from 30 grams of fruits once that wasnt as strong as a previous dose of 20 grams (with atleast a week in between drinking)

I've always believed RR when he said potency is ginetic. I've had some killer mushrooms grown of simple pf cakes. 25 grams producing 3d CEV that i thought that i became, flashing images, entire rooms moving (not just breathing)

other trusted cultivators have said that is not what they found so IDK

if you grow enough mushrooms, then week shrooms isnt an issue, just eat more.

nobody asked him how long it had been between trips...... there are factors at play here..... heat degradation from boiling the tea like someone said.... or not waiting long enough after the first trip.

2 years between trips.
i box fan dried for 3 days then placed in jar with silica jel for 3 days.
boiled water turned off burner and added mushies and tea.
took a one a day vitamin with 97mg of vitamin c.

no last time i got them from a dealer .didnt know what strain it was .u  could really say its my first time tripping .ive never had more than flipping stomach, and some mind thoughts. the 7g was my first time ever seeing neon green wavy grass but it took 7g do do it and just got me wondering

did you by chance eat a meal soon before you ate the mushrooms?
the best thing to do is not eat at least 6 hours before dosing.
i notice that if i ate too much that day or i havent taken a shit in a day or two..that i have too much matter in my stomach..and basically that prevents me from achieving a good trip.
the same goes for any drug you chose to ingest. but when it comes to our metabolisms..everyone is a little different.

IMHO, the only real way to control potency is to pick earlier. if you pick when the veil begins to tear away, they are at their peak potency. if you let them open up all the way, they are putting on more water weight (which will be lost mostly to drying) but are not adding any more chemicals.

so the first time was a weaker trip... probably less than the 7g i guess...... all i get off of small amounts is mind thoughts. it probably does take a qaurter of shrooms to get visuals. did you dose it all at once? or an eighth at a time? how do you know you actually needed that much?

I dont think you have a tolerance and i dont think (they might be tho) they were weak shrooms. sounds like you had a decent trip bro!

IMO shrooms dont have the visuals like acid..... it takes a hefty dose to get visuals. I Have had strong mind trips to where i can't even text message on my phone..... 15 minutes to write a quick message

exactly. mushrooms are mostly a mental thing in my opinion. the visuals are cartoony at best. i too cannot use my phone if i take more than 5 grams. its like when i pick up my phone i am just amazed by all its little inner workings and it sends my brain on all these little thought patterns of how the damn thing works..instead of the basic function of sending a simple text message. it is truly awesome.

My wife and I always eat the exact same mushies. I usually take 2-3 times more than her. She can get amazing visuals from 2.5g of our GT clone, while I need nearly 7g to get anything besides a body high and bright colors. Of course, I have done nearly 40 acid trips in my life, while she is new to tripping.

The only thing I can attribute this to would be a tolerance for psychedelics.
