Limewire MacBook Pro Question

So I downloaded limewire and now whenver I go to download a torrent it automatically opens and begins downloading in Limewire as opposed to utorrent...


does this matter?/b]

No. Not in the least. I have used it for single songs for years now. Zero problems

For the most part, agreed.

But, there are some singles that come out right away that aren't found on torrent sites that can be found on Limewire

There were 2 recently released singles that I wanted that I couldnt find on Mininova, Demonoid, Isohunt, etc....yet found on Limewire

It isn't often but it is a solid backup to new songs, imo

I'm running Limewire on a Mac.
Limewire is pretty fucking buggy, not my MacBook's fault though.
Torrents kick limewire's ass except for single songs.

You can use Limewire, but I like this program called Vuze much much better. The only problem is that it doesn't always have individual songs and usually you have to get the whole album.

If you want single songs, Frostwire is slightly better. That's what I had on my macbook.

Quit using limewire and use torrents.

Better quality, very few viruses. Get on a Private Tracker.

Just get rid of limewire, nothing good can come from it.

utorrent is the shit, you may need to change your settings for file extensions.

binsearch.info for free usenet indexing, plus, many ISP provide a usenet server, and there are also free ones out there to use, they just aren't quite as fast...torrents are fine too, adn i still use them for stuff i can't find, i just don't like uploading and the slower speeds of torrents.

Go to Finder and find the file (torrent file)
Click on the "Control" button on the keyboard and hold it down while you click on the file
Click "Get Info"
Then there should be a box with how you can open that type of file in the future....I choose vuZE

i didnt read all the posts but i say use frostwire, im almost positive limewire has viruses
