Giving Thanks

#1091069 - 11/27/02 02:52 PM (23 years, 10 months ago)

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving here in the US. I want to take an opportunity to post about the things that I am thankful for and find out what makes you grateful.

Love
Always having enough food to eat
My safe, warm home
The love of my life, Shroomism
Awareness of the world around me
My family
Opportunities to grow and learn that I find everyday
My dear friends
trees, animals, flowers...all the children of Mother Earth

Goodness...there are so so many...but I will leave the list there. I hope everyone will look around tomorrow and realize that the true reason for Thanksgiving is not food and football, but a day to realize and appreciate all those things we take for granted. Have a happy Thanksgiving!

i'm thankful for all of those that lived B4 me to bring me to this wonderous moment, and all those that follow me and carry on the torch, just glad to be alive considering all the stoopid things i've done to my body(chemically speaking)......thankful for the internet and the chance to come into contact with so many GR8 people that i probably wouldn't have had the honour of meeting any other way......a special thanks to my parents(now deceased) for allowing me my personal space and letting me grow/evolve into the person i am today

I am thankful that I live in such a great country that (more often than not) protects my basic rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

I am thankful I can enjoy all the modern conveniences so often taken for granted - food, shelter, running water, electricity, etc.

I am thankful for psychedelics that have opened my eyes to so many truths and provide escape from everyday stress.

I am thankful for my loving family and caring friends.

I am thankful for life.

A very nice Post, Stoned Fish....it's just that too often all i hear are people complaining about what they don't have, or what they should have had or could have had, nice to see someone giving thanks for what they do have

Shroomerites are probably the only group in the world thankful for cow poo. Except mabey cows.
