Re: The daughter of one of the greatest living artists [Re: Kickle]

I still do not get where you guys are coming from. Im sure the name helps
but its is not easy to draw like that. Can you reproduce and image perfectly? I can but it takes me quite a long time and dont think i could bust that many of them out for a show as she does. And if you look at her other drawings she is probably just as good at drawing as her dad. Witch says alot regardless of her being his daughter.

I dont know tho. You have to commend talent when you see it as far
as im concerned and to say that drawing from a photo is not exhibit
worthy is silly. Go check out shawn barber. He paints and draws from
photos...

Exceedingly more impressive, and I would be hard pressed to believe anything more than the subject is drawn from a photo in his work. He adds emotion with the colors, the setting, the extra artistic details. He develops an atmosphere for the subject, breaths life into it.

Hers was a photo reproduction, and that's all I see

I see what you are saying. However like i said in a previous post
agree to disagree. But the shear talent it takes to reproduce an image
like that is undeniable and that for me is all the life it needs.
