I wont use pesticides ill just set fire to the fire ants with bacon greese haha, our creeks are orange with chemical run off.

I only met those ants once.
I went beer drinkin'/catfishing in summertime Louisiana with some coworkers.(I'm a Yankee)
I was wondering why these locals all showed up in ankle height boots and full length bluejeans.
I wore what I like to wear in the summer, cutoff shorts, sneakers, no socks and no shirt.

Those little fuckers were on me before I even baited my hook.
  (The fire ants not the locals)
I ended up laying some car mats on the ground so I had a place to stand.
Those Cajuns laughed their asses off and out fished me 10 to 1.
I think I did out drank them though.  :smirk:

Yea man orange silt, algae looking shit that blankets the creeks.
I dont have any an theres no creeks close by that have the ick but just imagine thick deadish looking algae covering everything in the creek.
It comes from pesticide and fertilizer run off from farms n peoples lawns via storm drains.

Its also why mosquitos are extra bad no lil fishes to eat the larva in the creeks.

The man to come up with a permanent solution to fire ants will be rich, cordyceps maybe?:crazy2:

But yea Sc is a shiiiiiiitty state to be in dont even get me started on the beaches haha
