LC fuck up(help please)

My friend called me and told me he was going to inject his LC, inserted the empty plunger to release pressure, then went to stick the syringe with spores in and it sucked it all in. My question is will it germinate, will it still work or is 10cc too much for a LC

it will probably still work in an lc... because most of the content of the syringe is water anyways how much honey/karo did u use... like what was the ratio?

pint jar filled to the bottom line and 2 tbl spoons of light corn syrup, I'm assuming he means the bottom of the part where the lid screws on

thats too much corn syrup so it probably helped adding the extra water from the syringe, though, that is alot of spores for one lc but, really, no ones gonna be able to tell you for sure if it will be ok... theres only one way to see and that would be sit and wait... make another one while u wait just in case

you should only add like 1 tsp every 150 ml or 4% corn syrup 96% water

Cool, how long are you suppose to have the other syringe w/o the plunger in it to relieve pressure in for?

LOL...  Next time fill the syringe end of the needle with polyfill(I also put alcohol pad over that make sure it is some what dry or it will suck in alcohol),  stick it in the edge of your injection port.  Leave it in until you inject your spores.
It should work,  but it isn't going to be any different than 1cc.  You can still stick the syringe in there to relieve the pressure,  then you can suck up some LC in your syringe.  Then you will have an LC syringe in a few days.

he got the amount of light corn syrup wrong it was only 2tsp not 2tbsp that make a difference? also the syringe i used to releve pressure was filled with sterle cotton (may have been to tight) i will do it the way you say next time thanks for the help on this i guess we will just have to see

dont use cotton.. cotton wicks moisture and contams,use polyfill...

also yeah 2 tsp is much better than 2 tablespoons... less is more when it comes to nutes in an lc..

wait the tek i followed did not have a vent for air i just have an injection port does it need air???? because it did not show that here is a pic

The vent is to equalize the pressure when you draw out the liquid.  That's kinda what caused your problem in the first place, neg. pressure in the jar.

I don't normally say this put there are great LC work ups out there that will clear all this up with one read.
