Digital is an extra ~$200 and you get one year less on your warranty. Classic for sure, I don't get why anyone would buy digital. What are the advantages?

The owner at my local headshop said they have a lifetime warrenty.

a lifetime warranty is a BIG deal. i'd double check on that before you buy.  contact the company directly if you can.

And look around ebay for a volcano.  I think as cheap as $350 w/ goodies???

Digital would be nice for the "dial in" aspect.  I'd much rather know an exact setting than fiddling around with the nob.

You'd be cool blowing a bunch of extra cash just to know the specific temperature?
Volcano site

It's definitely a two-year warranty.
