Just found it on google. One thing I really dig about buffett is the feeling of nostalgia I get from listening to some of his songs that I don't really get from any other band I can't really explain it. Sometimes I think some of his hits get played out in concert but he's gotta play what people want to hear but he always makes shure to throw a gem in there that he don't play to often. Heres one of my favorites:
Jimmy Buffett - Wonder Why We Ever Go Home Lyrics
By: jimmy buffett 1977 Years grow shorter, not longer The more youve been on your own Feelins for movin grow stronger So you wonder why you ever go home Wonder why you ever go home
People are movin so quickly Humors in need of repair Same occupations and same obligations Theyve really go nothing to share Like drivin around with no spare
River gets deeper not shallow The further you move down the stream Wonderin if I can keep her As I race to catch up with my dreams How they shine and glitter and gleam
Years grow shorter, not longer The more youve been on your own Feelins for movin grow stronger So you wonder why you ever go home Wonder why you ever go home You wonder why you ever go home

I know what you mean. It just reminds me of home. Good times, food, music, everything.
He just knows how to live and what's truely important in life. (Ironic, since now he's a millionaire, himself.)
Probably the only real hero I have in my life.

Buffett on the radio lol? That never happens and if it does the only song they would play would be Margaritaville but I know what you mean. The dude got so little radio play he had to make his own radio channel heh its amazing how some people grow so big just by word of mouth.

Oh yea, thats right. I watched some special on him, awhile back. He was saying how hard it was for him in the beginning. Like, he had to play small gigs and struggle for years, before anything happened.

My cousin and her husband smoked a doobie on his sail boat down in Key West, he played them a couple songs. I was really happy for them!

Thats one cool thing about Buffett hes a respectable guy and not a dick to his fans like most stars. If you were to approach him somewhere in public he wouldn't blow you off like alot stars would. I heard about one really cool small show he did in St. Barths with Roger Waters in small bar for free to who ever happened to be there. They did alot of reggea type stuff is what I read from the report. Thats the kind of show I always dream about being in St. Johns somewhere at bar or something one night and buffett walks in just him and his guitar and does a small set for everyone there for free. That actually happens all the time in those type Islands very cool.

We think alike, then. I've always wanted that to happen. I've been to Margaritaville in Key West, but he didn't show up. Good thing is they don't card there, so you can drink all you like...they don't care.

I wont argue with you about that but it needs to be one of the two. We need to add some tropics to our festivities over here at the shroomery.
