If 10w-30 is reccomended, use that. It has viscosity modifying additives.  10W when cold, 30W when hot.

I've never seen a two cycle lawnmower but
just making sure this is a 4 cycle motor??

if so

should be the right stuff actually, SAE-30
10W-30 and synthetic 5W-30 will all work
fine.



Just out of curiosity...

does it say what weight on the dipstick,
or in the manual.  Is it a Briggs & Stratton
motor? What size motor?

if it's below 40oF, there ain't no need to mow the grass:cool:

and if for some reason you feel the need to cut some frost or
use the snowblower, I'd suggest a synthetic 5W-30

lol freezing? its hot and humid here...if my car was working i could probably collect pounds of mushrooms, they probably got 2 feet wide cubensis caps right now

i just used a little of that oil, it seemed ok...i didnt wanna put too much cuz it was a weird light blue color oil ive never seen before, but i got the yard mowed :thumbup:
