going to store in 30 Min's looked every were yesterday and could not find a tub with a clear lid know were can I just cut out the top of the lid and use plastic wrap and tape it to the top

what a horrible mess of a sentence.
From what I understood, you're asking if you could simply cut out everything but the rim of the lid and using plastic wrap to make a see-through lid, right?
You could do that but you need holes on the top too, look around for Plexiglas, it's more durable and way easier to clean.

I found that Walmart had a lot of tubs with clear lids so did Home Depot
I bought one 2 days ago

You don't need a clear lid as long as the sides are clear.

Just go to Wal-Mart and guy a transparent Sterlite container.  Drill 1/4" holes spaced apart every 2-3 inches, then put about 4" of damp, drained perlite at the bottom.  There ya go...

Fuck walmart.  Go anywhere else but there.  If you don't keep mom and pop hardware stores in business, they'll be gone soon.  We should all be boycotting walmart.  I haven't stepped foot in one since 1982 so you can bet your ass there's nothing you need for this hobby you can't get elsewhere.

top, bottom, all 6 sides. or it wont work correctly without manual help.

Absolutely! I used press'n'seal though.  You still have to poke holes in it, and elevate the whole thing, I use 1/2 pint jars.  Works perfect.
