I can tell you there are many different types of drunk off many different drinks.

Just the other night,I had a bottle of Buckfast. It's a tonic wine,very syrupy.

It's been described as speed in a bottle and it very much is. Lots of energy and stuff.

I don't get very energetic after beer.

Let's say I drank 1/4 litre of vodka.

Let's pretend 6 pints of beer is the equivalent of it.

If I drank them in the same time on 2 different days,the drunk would be massively different.

I couldn't really describe the differences but there are a few.

i love getting all kinds of drunk..but wine is my favorite..it keeps me mellow..i used to drink shit tons of vodka and trust me i was a crazy bitch

Ethanol is ethanol.

The other ingredients however, may have a slight psychoactive effect when given alone and in combination with one another.

As others have said, different drinks have different amounts of sugars, acids, and other ingredients which can make them feel slightly different.

A more robust example is energy drinks and alcohol (e.g. red bull and alcohol).  Its been shown scientifically that adding caffeine to alcohol clearly changes the subjective effects.

alcohol is composed of much more than ethanol which is what i was getting at.  you have all the higher and lower alcohols that the yeast produce, and the quanitys vary depending on if your drinking wine/beer/liquer.

There is a big difference for me in every alcohol I drink because each kind is usually made out of an entirely different process with different ingredients.

Its like asking if there is a difference between chicken soup and fried chicken.

There is the dose yes, but there is presence or absence of CO2 and/or Sugar, concentration and temperature, all of which have an effect on how the drink hits you.

depends

if you stick to beer for a few hours then it can be merry but keep drinking for hours or when drinks are mixed ie go from beer to spirit mixing with coke/pepsi etc then things can become unpredictable

it also depends on the weather and heat,full moon etc

the point is alcoholic beverages differ, just because green dragon is underground doesn't mean anything its just an example of the extreme.  which was to prove that a liquer could indeed be as extreme as a turkey or w/e the hell he said :lol:

liquorice for example is a relaxant and as such can change the drinking experience to some extent

the point is ingredents change the liquer
