there must be fungicide everywhere in gainesville, because i have not found anything in any fields accept pile after pile of cow poop, and bulls looking to push me out of there territory

I don't think fungicide is the problem.

Ive seen fields that have had only 1 patty that fruited cubes the whole season, that was strange.

But anyways cattle are raised to make money and farmers try to do this as cheaply as possible, so spraying an entire field with fungicide is not worth the extra cost to them, it just cuts into their profits.

the only place i can think of that actually uses fungicides is on a golf course.

try to find fields with some trees, or long grass.

yeah i'm talking about on the greens and stuff, i think they use fungicides.

if you type "golf course fungicide" into google you'll see products and stuff that the golf course people use.

maybe go to a futher field or some wher far away like a hour drive to scope for new fields!

My two pennies for the evening:
You'll have to decide what's ideal.
Are you waiting for repeated heavy rains then heading out?
Are spending enough time in the field (Some hunters report taking up to 2 or even 3 hours before finding anything in a field)?
Are you checking more than one field?
Are you looking next to trees? Also are you checking in mildly shaded areas such as tall grass?
Are you coming across ANY mushrooms and passing some up because they don't SEEM to be Psilocybe cubensis? (This species has more than one "face" so to speak). Compare sunburnt versions to those that aren't for example.

Hmm was flippin thru the boards and found this topic.

I apply pesticides for a living and have been actively searching every customers property this whole season trying to find some subs.

The product we use is an insecticide/fungicide combination. We soak everything down including the lawn.

I have gone back to several customers houses, and places where we have been spraying once a month for 3+ months straight and I still see lots of mushrooms growing if the rain/temp is right.

Haven't been so lucky with any actives, but there are a hell of a lot of random shroomies growing.

I can't believe that whole thread was talk about a saltlick :foreheadslap:


I do think that smaller places like small horse stables take some measures to help keep the kids from tearin up the fences all the time.
