You probly wont find much pearl jam support though.  For some reason alot of people just dont like em.

I used to be a huge pearl jam fan.

I still like them but that song just didn't really do it for me.

I'll have to listen to it more though before I judge.

pearl jam is one of the best american rock bands ever.....and have one of the best live shows i have ever seen. ive been to seven shows of theirs...including bonnnnnnarooooo last year.


cant wait for october 28/30th.....two sold out shows at the legendary Philadelphia Spectrum!!!!!!!!...they will be the last band to ever play the venue. it is getting torn down shortly after!



as for the single...its OK...not great.  i much prefer the song 'Got Some' that they played on the tonight show on conan obriens first night as host.  as far as the album goes.....i dont care how it turns out because all i know is the band blows me away in concert every time!

Pearl Jam is one of my favorite bands. I've seen them live 3 times and they ALWAYS give great performances, it's obvious they love what they do. All three times they came out for encores :thumbup: Mike McCready is easily one of the best living guitarists, too.

My speakers are broken though and I will not be able to listen until tomorrow :sad:

Pearl jam is def one of the great bands we ave yet to produce, but ever since their last album, I think they have lost a lil something. Then again I havent listened to those albums, but I will say that that song you posted is not to my taste.

Yeah its definitely not as good as Ten or any of their older stuff but i dont mind their new stuff.

Sweet, thanks for sharing.

Im not too into that single either, its tight instrumentally but not too ballsy and the vocals leave alot to be desired - although im sure the rest of the album will pick up the slack...

I love pearl jam, would love to see them live.

I think they still embrace DIY to an extent and from what i've seen in interviews, they remain very humble.
