3 months ago 2 aussie female friends of mine were in the area and the only reason they didnt stay with me is i had no king size bed or 3 seater couch :sad:

people throw/give away perfectly good couches, ALL THE TIME

you can furnish an entire house this way.. if you live in a pretty populated area and have a truck or something.

Some couches are in bad shape, yes
But I've seen fucking BRAND NEW couches thrown out before
Leather ones and shit. Really nice stuff, CLEAN, and in good condition.. that people just throw away.
Happens all the time. People move. Or they get new furniture. And they are just like whatever someone take this away.
And they just throw away the $1,200 couch they bought 3 months ago that little suzy sat on twice.

Check craigslist, thrift stores, consignment shops if you have any by you. Shouldn't have a problem finding something. Or like others suggested curb shop if your not adverse to that sort of thing.
