I need a cheap substitute for a couch!

My old couch was shit so i got rid of it

I cant afford to pay 500$ + for a new couch... what can i get? i need something cheap!

There is nowhere to seat in my apartment, i sit on  the bed when i use my PC. I need soomethingg to impress ladies

I guess i could try to invest into a bean bag or check local couches on the ebay? :confused:

Check out a second hand shop. My friend got an incredibly nice leather couch that reclines on both ends for $100 from one of those stores.

But getting it into his new apartment we probably did about $200 worth of damage. :p But he still has that fucker almost 3 years later and it's still comfy as hell.

ppl throw away good couches all the time

they put them on their curbs
and other ppl just come up and take them away

thats how cheap college kids get their furniture around here

and if you are too "proud" to do that, than craigslist it

Mattresses covered in pillows
Hammock Chairs
Big poofy folded blankets
Just massive pillows.
I don't know, I don't have a couch either, just things I've had or thought would make awesome seating places :smile:

There are some awesome couches in my local furniture store: all above 900 $, and quite large - my doorway is tiny, i doubt i could moe it in

A futon maybe? Those wood ones are slick, but the metal ones are alright. They might have some cheap ones at wal-mart if  you have one by you. Or just go to a thrift store.

Seriously, just pick up a couch from the freeads / craigslist / newspaper / side of the road.

Usually > $50 and you don't even have to wear the fucker in :grin:.

curb shopping is the cheapest method.  or put an ad up on craigslist "need a couch, will haul your old one away free" and you get like 3 or 4 emails with quickness.

Or find a futon.  Sometimes there's sales on them for like 80 bucks.
