Mailing spore syringes into CA from out of state -- safe?

My understanding is that spores are legal to ship in the US with the exception of CA and two other states, and that shipping them into CA from out of state is illegal.
That being the case ... is there really any way to get caught?

Say the shipping method is syringes in a plastic bag in a cardboard box via USPS -- it's not like that could get picked up by drug-sniffing dogs or anything, right?

Oh and uh this is hypothetical. :rolleyes:

As long as its packaged well and addressed properly, you will have no problems.

Even if they open it you will be fine, as far as I know there has never been a prosecution in CA for having spores. 

They are legal in CA if you don't intend to use them for cultivation.  Which is actually the exact same legal status as it is in the other 47 states.  Its just that CA law spells it out, so US spore vendors won't ship there.  Often non-us spore vendors don't care about the silly misdemeanor california law.

Tight. Wanted to make sure, since it would (hypothetically) be a friend of mine doing the sending, not myself, and I want to make 100% sure that I'm not setting him up to get fucked.

Georgia, California, and Idaho -- as far as I know, those are the only three states which US spore businesses won't ship to. Wisconsin is safe :thumbup:

I meant to respond to this thread yesterday, but yeah- I got spores shipped from Canada to Los Angeles California, and did not get caught. The spores were shipped in a box that say LCC Trading or something like that, so it did not raise suspicion apparently. It was not opened or tampered with. And inside, it said- this is for scientific use ONLY.

so yeah, you should be fine.
