I feel, and have felt for a while now, your pain and doubts.  I don't know how you are so aware and yet seemingly so sane while living in Louisiana, but then again I don't know how my parents pulled it off either.

God. I dont know if this really happened in LA, but it sure sounds like home to me. I grew up in a small town due north of new orleans, but since the city has been going to shit everyone has been moving to where Im from. So in order to raise the necessary funding to provide for the sudden influx of people the small town decided to go after the easiest money targets. 16-17 year olds with pot. Still that way to this day.
Now you can ask me to drive a semi full of pot to Detroit tomorrow, and for the right sum I might say yea, bu tif you were to ask me to go back to smalltown LA, and ride through it with a pipe and a roach in my car, Id tell you to go fuck yourself.
