Those were some of the cuttings I was giving you.I also have some cool ass mamillaria cuttings for you also.Yo,I never said I was leaving my Cacti outdoors this far up north.I couldn't even leave them uncovered for quite a few nights last winter in Florida.I have a spare bedroom that I'll be bringing all my Cacti in to :grin:

It wont be that cold until November or so.

loph's can survive freezing temps, so long as they are dry it's no problem.
i had some outside all winter in england, where it was freezing every night for weeks on end and they survived, down as low as -6c.
in europe, many people keep lophs in unheated greenhouses too.
the lophophora blog guy for example, he gets -4c in his greenhouses on a regular basis during winter.

that said, i'm not reccomending that you leave your loph's out KBG.
when i get the heating system set up in my greenhouse here i'm going to set it to come on at 5c and switch off at around 10c on the thermostat.

sorry, thought you were talking about lophs, that is the topic after all :grin:

i killed loads of myrtillos last winter by leaving them in the garage, it didn't even get down to freezing and they turned to mush.

Yes they are not hardy at all, which is why I prefer to see Stenocereus used as stocks for that reason.
