Have you ever had a lateral ankle injury or a fractured fibula?

I think I have both, What should I do other then go to a doctor. I dont wanna bother the sexy doc again plus I aint got money for this shit. Im buying a car and repairs, No way. Fuck, I got some vics but is hot or cold good for the fucked ankle? and what else might possibly help.

ive had both.

The ankle was stupid, i felt a snap but it felt just like a sprained ankle, so i walked around with a baseball bat crutch for about a day then finally broke down and went to the hospital. I got there, they xrayed and i had a break. I ended up with a big boot cast that i could take off- not that bad.

The other time i broke my tib/fib and the ankle touched the knee on the same leg. Gross.
I had bars and screws installed followed by 6 months of no walking and another year after that of rehab.
(on the leg u druggies.)


just take it in and have them look at it, because if it heals poorly your fucked for life or they have to break it again and set it up straight.

Aw shit man, I heard a crunch and loud cracking but then I could walk kinda ok... i was thinking sprain. I took a few shots after that but when I sobered up it hurt bad and I smoked my whole sack of weed to sleep. Now I cant walk atall, Im hoppind around with a short stick :cripple:

when I broke min I had to hike for a few hours to get off the
mountain and back to my truck, I could feel the bones rubbing
together, it didnt hurt too bad until I got my boot off and
stopped moving it, I had them set it but no cast
