I dont believe he actually thinks its a ant anyways  He would be wrong to say it is, obviously. I dont even know why I got upset with him, I didnt show "evidence", but i was only here to simply show a great find.

He just wanted further evidence to back up my word, which he got (maybe not as good as he wanted), but its all I got  I dont really feel like arguing anymore though. Take the picture for what it is

for me, the goal is to find secluded cow or horse pastures, that you can successfully go hunting in without being seen by anyone.  Sometimes this is because of trees surrounding the pasture, not having a house on or near by the pasture, and/or being in the middle of nowhere away from busy roads...

never park your car on the side of a road to hop a fence to go in a pasture.

if you're able to find a secluded field that also has a good, safe place to park your car you're pretty much set.  Or park your car somewhere safe away from the field and walk to the field.

And also watch out for "the eye in the sky" when your trespassing on gigantic pasture land.

be careful out there

p.s. you could also try asking the Land Owner to hunt on they're property, or find and get permission from someone you or your family knows who owns a pasture.

well, i'm pretty stoked this morning. I discovered a new place to hunt, and it had the first Cubensis I'v seen this season, along with a variety of Panaeolus.  It's basically a forest with cow patties everywhere...

(p.s. my camera's screen is fucked, so I had to remember how many times to press a button in order to take macro photos, or use the flash.,  sorry the white balance is screwed in a few of these.)

this is the biggest active Pan i have ever held.

some inactive Pans, i think they're Papilionaceus :

there were a bunch of gigantic Boletes back there. I didn't bring any back because they would have crushed all my other finds.

and this Bolete kind of looks like an egg.  Anyone know what kind of Bolete this is?
