i would have some really amazing photos if I always brought my camera hunting. but I normally don't bother bringing it along, because I don't like spending too much time on someone else's property.

I will go out today and take some photos of a good spot I found abundant with pans. One question though, Ive read that pans are easy to grow? Would it be as easy as bringing home a bag of cow dung that is covered with youngans and pins and spreading it in a nice corner of your yard ? I counted 43! on one cowpat yesterday and was so tempted to bring it home! Also what is the dosage with these fresh?

Was there sarcasm in that post or were u being serious about the scissors? Bc I didn't use any scissors but do have some fingernails that come in handy when trying to clip them.
Just went out and found 4 more MEATY purple ringers, 10 ~ 15 blue meanies, they are everywhere.
I'm in SW FL.

Same exact thing with me, but in the future I'm going to try to make a better effort bringing a camera along with my on the hunt and the trip. So many amazing sites during both.

no sarcasm, i was being serious. i use my fingernails as well if i dont have scissors, thats why i keep my nails long.
i thought i was the only hunter on this site that used their fingernails to harvest mushrooms, we need to create a fingernail harvest club.

I would totally be a member of that club, I play guitar with my nails so they are very long at all times on my right hand. Sure comes in handy when picking mushies.

nice, all mine were found in southwest Florida also
most of the finds I have seen are in Florida. there's got to be some people finding Pan Cyans outside of Florida, at least I hope there is.

Wow, definitely try to get some photos next time you go. And the thing with bringing a patty home would most likely be a success. Try to make a little area for it next to/under a small shrub, or in tall grass.
And if it was me I would add some more moist manure to the patch after the first flush.
