one way to keep your substrate more sterile is to bake the substate in different bowls(the substrate is not put in the jars at this point) for 45min at 345(rice flour in one pan, verm in the other)then boil your jars for one hour.to make a sterile syringe fill a measuring cup haft full of water and nuke it for 15 min the suck up the water into your syringes.Then boil your syringes in a pot(with the nuked water inside the syringes)for a hour.then take a haft pint jar with the opening of the jar covered with tin foil and bake it for 45 min at 425 in the oven.when both the syringes and jar are room temp you can scrape the spores into the sterile jar and then use the sterile water in the syringes to mix the spores. then suck the spore water solution back into the syringe and now you have a sterile syringe.
