I think we need a edit post button on the page that pops up and then directs you back to the forum or thread.

I know everyone else has had times where they click the post button and then just remember they spelled something wrong or something similar to that.

I have logged in this once so that I can set the "last seen" feature up.  let the faggots flow forth into OTD and have it.  Its funny how they all grew nuts after I left.  I'm not here, I'm not reading, but I urge you all to keep melting down over me.  I know, I hurt alot of people, and they deserved it.  epic win for me, epic fail for you.

Sometimes my crap  laptop takes a minuet to load the page thread the redirection and my the time I get to the edit post button theres like 3-4 new posts and the edit is kinda useless.
I think its a good idea.

I agree with GTFO, if this is a big enough problem that you need an 'edit' link on the post confirmation screen, you should probably just preview your posts by default. I did add an option under display preferences to skip the post confirmation though:
