I've had jars 'last' up till a month or so at room temp... look them over good before you add solution. Don't feel shy about dumping any that look bad (excess water in one spot, anythign 'growing' white, light or dark green or black patches) it's ok to start with new jars. Practice makes perfect...

Actually I asked the same question about a month ago, that when I made my cakes. I just inoculated three days ago, and I just put the jars back into the box they came in until I got my syringes from PF and Ryche. So, you 'll be alright, just as long as the lid has been on the jars tight, there is no need to resterlize.
