Asuming 'IT' is the US intrest in war with Iraq, and the reason for certain other dispicable USA foriegn policies?
Of course. Everybody knows that don't they?
It's more than oil. It's an unwillingness to give up control by a very few oil producers, who in effect are holding the planet hostage, if not with greenhouse gasses then with nukes. Yes nukes, cuz in the end, it seems to take war to sustain the oil addiction.
And don't pipe up about nessecity. There is an appaling lack of willingness to conserve in the USA in general. Things like more fuel efficient cars, real public transit, are all fought politically by lobby groups representing the intrested industries. It's a ridiculous circus, instead of an attempt to build a civilization.
Whew, I'm out of breath...

ooooh I cant wait to hear tales of the noble motives behind the liberation of the iraqi's and the afghanis (obviously the big oil pipe an american company wants to lay all thru afghanistan that the Taleban were preventing was just a coincidence, honest!) While they are at it im sure the americans will be helping to feed the millions who are on the brink of the worst ever famine in Ethiopia and other parts of africa.
I wonder what percentage of the american military budget would be needed to ease that situation considerably?
Fuck it eh? why feed the starving when we can blow up the almost starving right?

Does Bush hold press conferences? It would be a good question to put to him: What about oil? What would he reply? "What about it?" Has he been asked publicly?

I mean, I really dont think that after all the bombing of Iraqi people, that they would really want to be pro-US.
It is their land, and their values, and ethnicity, why do we have the right to go in and take that away from them? Its such bullshit, I do not see how all of a sudden they will be pro-US.
Just like we colonized america, killing off all the native americans, raping them of their women and land.
Now what, we are going to do the same to the Iraqi's?
Seems a little weird how US oil companies did spend $26 million on G.W's campaign.
