Is silica gel powerful enough to dry shrooms? Is a stronger deccicant needed?

I dunno, but I found a good source for it. If you hate wal-mart like I do, then go there, and steal all the packets out of their shoes. i got like 30 or 40 of them, in just 30 seconds of time
they are everywhere.

silicia gel is powerful enough or you could use dried epson salt (magneisum sulfate) or calcium chloride (damp-rid). with epson salt u can just bake it in oven at 400F for an hour or so to make sure its dry cuz when it sits in unsealed container it pulls moisture in from air.

just curious.. i'm thinking of the little packs of silica gel (about a square inch or slightly larger, found in some pc equipment when shipped).. any ratios on how much silica gel packs to dry per gram.. etc..? And are these used to dry the mushrooms after being dryed with a fan, or used to dry them completely in a sealed container (no fan) ?

we use epson salt
and it works really well
although you gotta be careful 'cause that stuff can give you the shits.

I prefer damp-rid because, in my opinion, its cheaper, more readily available, quicker, and doesn't leave a chemical taste... although silica gel will work just as well.

Yeah.......... shrooms dried with STOLEN dessicant..... sheesh.... that`s gotta be some BAD Kharma and probably a bum trip on the shrooms too. Me thinks stealing is NOT good advice. The shits cheap....... just purchase it and save your self the bad vibes

You can get a cat litter that is made of just silica sand or gel what ever you want to call it. It is about $10 for a 5 or 10 lbs.
