loph seedling pics

Planted these lw seeds May 18th, keep them in a plastic sandwhich bag near the window, mist+fan once or twice a day. Cactus soil + coarse sand mix.

I don't know if you notice the wispy cobweb stuff, can't figure out if its fungus or just the tiny root hairs, bought some neem oil, diluted with water and misted the seedlings with it, we'll see what happens.

Do they look etiolated to you or is this normal for a loph until they fatten up?

Not sure about lophs, but I try to get my cacti full sun, or as much as possible.

lophs dont really like full sun, they naturally grow in the shade of other plants or something

Yeah, their etiolated, but nothing too awful. Just give them a little more intense lighting, or perhaps a longer light period, whichever is the problem.

Is the whispy stuff at the base of the lophs? That's all I can see in the pictures, if so then its just root hairs and you have nothing to worry about.
Good to see you using the sandwich bag tek, I love it, they practically look after themselves, I haven't watered mine ever since planting them, its been over 3 months and they're still moist.

Yep, easy as pie. Lophophora seed, most cacti seed actually, look very much the same as many other species.
