Other information:
the caps smell like an old musty auto garage.

You found an Inocybe.

It almost certainly contains the mycotoxin muscarine.

If you were thinking of eating them, bad.

Muscarine causes effects in only 15 - 30 minutes. The symptoms are sometimes referred to as "sludge" syndrome. The letters stand for:

S - Salivation (lots of drooling)
L - Lachrymation (your eyes water)
U - Urination (you just keep having to go)
D - Diarrhea (you should be able to figure this one out)
G - Gastrointestinal distress (stomach cramping and nausea)
E - Emesis (puking)

Big fun! Fortunately it's rarely fatal. It usually results in a visit to the emergency room. In severe cases they can administer atropine to counteract the symptoms, but sometimes too much atropine is given so you end up sick from that instead. Most of the time they put you in a room with a bucket until you feel better and just keep watching to make sure you don't start having problems from dehydration.

damn, i was hopeful about these. for some reason i can only find these and the inactive panaeolus variety in the pasture i go to. it sucks balls.
