Any shroomerites prefer the lazy life?
    #10378501 -

As in working as little as possible- I understand for some people this may not be an option, people with family's, etc.

I want to see if I am alone here?  I like going out every few days or so but in general I enjoy being as lazy as possible- aside from skate sessions, playing music, college and stoner adventures.

Want to see if I am alone here?  I really can't relate to the busy mind set- but we all have to make money and do our essentials.  :bongroll:

I'm with you skate...  The less there is to do the better unless its vital, and then I really don't mind taking the time to do what ever needs to be done.

I'm one of the laziest guys on the planet.
That's gonna have to end soon though. I'd like to graduate sometime before 2020 and I'm also almost out of money.

I hate being lazy, but I tend to focus all of my enery in a direction that society may look down upon. For example... I work the bare minimum to pay my bills and feed myself, but I'll pour hours into writing music/practicing my instruments.

I hate the feeling of being unproductive, but I feel that working a regular job is pretty much a waste of time... so I focus most of my energy into things I enjoy.

I wouldn't say im lazy though...

That's like me actually. I like putting my energy in art- skateboarding, drawing, playing music!

I'm lazy as hell and I hate it. I just don't see a lot of value in many things though. I do have intense periods where I work 12 to 20 hours a day though on various projects. I think I'm a manic depressive.

I'm pretty lazy. I probably haven't made my bed in about 15 years. Throw my cloths in the floor, never organize anything. Don't see the point in straightening things up just to go and mess them back up again. I can't stand having food or garbage laying around though.
If having lots of money means having to work constantly, I'm happier being poor. I don't feel the need to constantly be productive.

how do you afford to do the things you love and keep yourself a roof over your head?

Yep, I'm pretty lazy.  Given a choice between higher pay and more free time, I'd definitely choose the latter, provided I was making enough money to get by.

There's a difference between not working a job because you want more free time and being lazy.

What you do in the free time is what determines whether you are lazy or not (or is at least part of what determines your laziness.)

Well, let's just say I was never the athletic type.

So jobs and athletics are the only outputs of productivity?

I could spend all the free time I have/create for myself by learning music theory, practicing instruments, reading books that I find enjoyable and practical to my interests, cleaning, or going for a leisurely bike ride. I would consider all of those productive activities and I probably could fit all of them in each day if I cut out all but say an hour or even two of computer/television use.

However I'm lazy as fuck and I don't. Which makes my lack of job and class attendance so pathetic. If I was being productive I would feel so much better about my lack of achievements in school.

When I work, I work hard. When I play, I play hard. When I feel like being lazy, goddamn I'm lazy!

Currently I live at home and go to college. I am looking for a serious job but it may take some time with the economy, plus I gotta stop procrastinating creating a resume lol

but I am willing to work, make money and get the fuck out of here- but by lazy I don't mean not doing what you need to- for survival and independence
