My instruments.
    #2852133 - 07/02/04 06:29 PM (13 years, 1 month ago)

Inspired by stefan's post of his guitars ( http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat...t=1#Post2851854 ) I've decided to make a thread about my instruments. These aren't actual pictures of them as my web cam is a piece, and isn't working, but they're pictures from the net that are as close to mine as I could find.

My first guitar
It says paracho on it which I'm assuming is the brand
I bought it in mexico for 20 bucks when I was 13 or 14.

My mexican Fender stratocaster:

My larrivee acoustic (one hell of a guitar):

My gibson nighthawk:

My fender mandolin:
slight difference between this one and mine is that mine's more of a wood color, alomst sunburst though.

My lowrey organ:
this one is a little different than mine, the switches aren't colored and the music stand is a different shape.

My blessing trumpet:

and I've got another trumpet that my dad found in a dumpster when I was really young. I forget when kind it is though.

I think that's all though I feel like I'm forgetting something....
I play through a marshall JCM 2000 head and a marshall 4X12 cabinet, and I've also got a Vox Valvetronic 2x12 120 watt......

I play a few other things, but these are all the instruments I've got for now...I really want to get a banjo, a stand-up bass, an electric bass, and a sitar....but when you're broke you don't buy instruments.....very often.

HOLY SHIT, You have a Blessing?

I only seen one other B-flat Blessing in my lifetime and that was at Camp Arrowbear Music Camp. They are about the same quality as Bach Stradavarius trumpets.

I personally have a 15/43 B-flat Bach Strad Lightweight; though I ain't played it much in the past ten years. The USC School of music was recruiting me to their program since I was in the tenth grade, but for many obvious reasons I didn't major in music.

that's a nice collection.  a sitar would be kinda cool.  i like your larrivee acoustic
here's mine:

that acoustic sound really nice for a washburn.  it's so big, it resonates very nicely.
right next to the acoustic is a double cut les paul copy.

on top of the fender vibro champ is some old mandolin...
and then there's my nice little ukulele.  i love that thing.

very awesome felix....

and pat though I have a blessing I havne't played it in a number of years either, my lips are incredibly out of shape....I keep telling myself I'm going to pick it back up, but I never do. I doubt I could even make it sound like music anymore.

edit: I just went and looked at the other trumpet it says Besson (i think it says besson) on it and then it says Stratford. I did a search and found a company called besson that makes trumpets, but I don' know what the stratford is. The horn also says made in england on it, which is where I'm under the impression that besson is located so I'm fairly sure that's what it is. It's got what looks to be pearl on the valves, though it may be imitation. I can't get the tuning slides unstuck and haven't been able to for years. It's pretty tarnished, but one day I'm gonna see about maybe restoring it a bit.

very sweet, my friend just got his sg stolen...it was a damn shame....

...question, does yours have the picture of the guy at the base of the head on the back? His did and neither one of us knew who he was, I thought maybe it was a pic of Mr. Gibson.
