Denial is first part of grief.... over realizing you have no cogent viewpoint.

We all know it was torture until the United States starting doing it.  Then it wasn't torture.  At least until it was banned because torture is inconsistent with American values.

It'll be interesting to see what comes out of the torture investigations.

Enjoy your hard on.  It will no doubt end as most erections do.  In a masturbatory spasm of of fruitless ejecta.

So...you don't actually have an argument, right?  Just personal attacks?

1.  There was never a trial for the man's death.

2.  Of course it is, no matter how much the torture perverts try to deny it.

I'm still waiting for a part of the Geneva conventions that validates waterboarding. I suspect there is none. Where's the provision that says "Oh and if he's a really bad guy you can torture him just a little as long as you don't leave any noticeable lasting damage." like the torture memos make a claim to. Nobody's debating that you don't think waterboarding is torture or that the bush admin didn't (before they changed their mind) But by international law signed and ratified by the USA that it is torture.

Only someone who really hated America would want to make them welch on a major international convention. You America haters.

Wow, really?  What "international law" signed and ratified by the USA specifically states that waterboarding is torture?  I would really like to see you back up this claim.

The strappado boys were tried in the matter of the man's death.  Lying will get you nowhere.

Nope.  We've been over this.  They were tried for assault, conduct unbecoming, etc.  Nobody was charged with murder.  Yet.

Apparently the prosecutors decided the incident didn't warrant a murder charge.  Which has not one thing to do with the fact that they were tried.  Wah fucking wah.

No wonder the conservative movement is so weak right now.  Too many admit they think the killing of foreigners is no big deal (among other things).

Please enlighted me on how opposing torture equates to thinking that killing Americans is no big deal???

Where does that reference torture?  What torture?  And the Conservative movement is not in trouble, Republicans are.  If the Republicans had actually been conservative they would still be in power.

Because you prefer to hamstring any efforts at obtaining information for some nebulous and illusory legal parsing of interrogation techniques so as to make them useless and utterly ineffective.  You are Jamie Gorelick's bastard child.

What are you talking about?  Please enlighten us with a quote where Zappa says, "Killing Americans is no big deal."
