I can't believe the majority of the shroomery are alright with the islam religion.

It's a load of fucking shit that needs to be exterminated ASAP.

Who cares about "that's not true islam", the vast majority/mainstream of the religion is fucked.

It's so sickening, going into a 3rd year biochemistry lab at university, and being a lab partner with a bright/intelligent/independant muslim women that is wrapped head to toe. They're just another human being, it's absolutely sick to cover them up like that!

Then the boyfriend comes in... Billabong board shorts, a singlet, oakley sunglasses and a pair of flip flops and drags her away.

Fucking sickening, Islam can go fuck itself. Our university has a VERY large islamic population and I've spent ALL of my degree with islamic women over the years.

The religion is downright sick based on it's view of women. YOU CAN NOT SUPPORT IT. I don't give a shit about government intervention, but when it comes to islam, fuck them. You got cases of 50yo's married to 6yo's (was just in the news) and cases of "if they don't give you sex within 4 days, you can rape them".

I don't give a crap about political correctness, any religion that treats it's own like that should be eliminated.

I'm a very open-minded person.

I can accept A LOT of things.

One thing I can not accept is Islams view of women. It's downright degrading and abysmal.

IMO anyone that treats women like that should be jail, not drug users.

I know people say "it's just different cultures". Well FUCK THEM, change their culture, their culture is wrong, I would be happy to stand up and fight against that crap. No culture should allow 1 gender to completely dominate another gender, it's a load of bullshit and the world should collectively rise against it.

SHIT religion.

I know my words aren't pub safe, but I can't stand people harming our own race.

God damn wankers.

They are some REALLY nice women under those dark black cloths, I always hoped one of them would burst out and go "I AM FREE", but nop, they're all still living under a terrible regime of hate for one gender.

Islam is not backwards, people are backwards. And especially ceratin people living in third world countries. Not to say that all Muslims are in poverty, but being one of the top two largest religions in the world, of course you're going to have a clusterfuck of a fanbase. You really think the Christians living next door to the Muslims in these third world middle eastern countries are so much better?

I study at one of the top uni's in Australia. We have a mosque on campus. I interact A LOT with muslims.

In Australian society, in 40 degree heat (105 degrees F), there is NO need at all to have women wrapped completely head to toe in black fabric and treated like a 2nd class citizen. Especially when the male is wearing surf clothing, flip flops/thongs, a singlet and a pair of board shorts.

There is NO NEED.

It's just shit and no amount of "cultural difference" will make me change my mind.

It's shit.

Dirty religion that needs to be exterminated.

Many people get just as worked up at the thought of people using drugs as you do about Hijabs. From my point of view, both causes of aggravation would likely be from ignorance and poor assumptions from limited bias.

Islam is not a dirty religion. Christianity is a MUCH "dirtier" religion (IMO), though obviously the followers of both religions have done horrible things.

Yea but at least the white trash people I showed in the beginning have the nerve to beat their women knowing that there might be proper repercussions, where there's a little bit of a chance that SOMEONE might do something. Not where all the women just gossip about the beating and men just move forward not thinking twice.  Don't do terrible things to women and call it faith based, FUCK THAT, you want to dominate women? Fine, thats highly natural, but at least EARN dominating that pussy. To much of Islam stays very quiet(because of their religion) for that system to ever work, that part of the culture will only continue to grow.

They all don't say anything when a 50yr old marries a 6yr old, and they hang gay people publicly. SICKENING.

Some muslim women enjoy being able to cover themselves up, because they feel that it gives them the power to be more seductive by showing less.  Not sure how that logic works, but it works for them.  If they don't feel oppressed, then I don't think they are.  They're not being forced to do anything they don't want to do, unless they are, which in that case, I agree it's fucked up.  But in industrialized countries, it's very rare that muslim women would be forced to do anything I think.  I could be wrong about that though, I'm not sure.

In any case, there's a number of other religions that have some fucked up policies towards women.  Like mormanism.  Men are allowed to have as many wives as they want, yet women have to deal with that fact without being able to choose another man for themselves.  Also, a lot of judeo christian religions require women to cover their heads, just not to the extreme level that muslims take it.  Also, if you've ever talked to a good number of christian men about how they feel women should be treated, you'd be shocked.  It's just as bad as some muslim extremists; they think women should exist only to serve the man and if they disobey men have the right to punish them.  Chaveanism is not exclusive to islam.  If you feel islam should be wiped off the planet for those reasons, you should feel the same way about pretty much any religion in the world.

As much as people may get worked up about me using drugs (being cannabis), it is a victimless crime.

Forcing women to cover themselves up and essentially become slaves to a certain male though is NOT victimless, it's got a very clear victim, that being the women.

THERE IS NO NEED TO SUBJECT THESE WOMEN TO THESE CUSTOMS.

If anyone can give me a clear, concise and scientific reason why we should regulate these women to a lower standard of living, I'll step back.


Till then, they're a bunch of assholes that get off on the pain of others.

Christians maybe win dirtiest over ALL time, but currently the Muslim nation is one of the most dangerous growing forces in the world. Christians/Catholic threw women into iron maiden, which is extremely sick.

And are you honestly trying to say that taking a risk in order to beat a female, rather than not, is more justified than the latter?

The reason why they don't worry about not getting in trouble is because they don't have the necessary law enforcement, not because of their religion. Islam does not justify the exclusive "beating" of woman. Men are "beaten" all the time, in the same manner, and often for similar reasons. Also there are a lot of rules behind dealing out punishment, and most islamic factioned governments don't seem to follow these rules, whether out of disregard or ignorance, though my guess is disregard.

Unfortunately in countries with low standards of living, the populations access to information is often greatly limited. So these people living in these countries have only been exposed to what their government selectively chooses.

All it is is history repeating itself.  Christianity was the world first oppressive religion.  Now Islam is taking the lead.  Big deal.

I understand that some countries will execute women for not wearing the garb, but as I said, in industrialized countries, that would not happen.  The stoners (no pun intended) would be automatically arrested, or stopped by onlookers.  If the society that people live in will allow that kind of fucked up mentality to persist, it's not the religion, but the society as a whole that has issues.
