The symptoms are the same as the regular flu. Fever, sore throat, coughing, chills, vomiting, runny nose etc.

The major difference I've heard of is that the swine flu gives you REALLY bad headaches. I have had very bad headaches since Sunday. Feels like my eyes are going to pop out when I look to the left or right. When I cough it feels like someone hits me in the head with a hammer.

I'm gonna try to get some Relenza tomorrow. If the pharm won't give it to me I'll just duke it out the old fashioned way. Chicken noodle soup and NyQuil.

Wow, that's so intense if you truly believe you've contracted the swine flu.  I hope you feel better soon.  How long does this flu take to pass by?

I'm starting to feel better. I'm on day 5 now. Only problem is my appetite is still shot. I can't even choke down a hot pocket.:mad2:

I would go to the hospital but I lost my health insurance when I got laid off last year. Now I'm kinda fucked. I tried to get Relenza/Tamiflu from the walgreens and they shut me out.

My roommate who brought his sick as hell girlfriend here on Friday/Saturday is the reason I'm so sick. I really don't understand why people go to other people's houses when they're sick. Its plain fucking rude in my opinion.

So far Washington has about 6 probable cases of swine flu. 3 of those are in Seattle.

Tamiflu nor Relenza can do anything anymore for you. They need to be taken within 48 hours of the first symptoms appearing.

Its extremely rude. An aunt wanted to visit me last flu season. She could barely speak from coughing and hoarseness. I reminded her I'm a heart patient getting flu shots and kept her at bay :crankey:

People who keep on truckin' with 102'F fever often talk down on people who get in bed to ride out the illness, while in fact they are aso, spreading the pestilence wherever they go.

If you got a flu, don't visit me. You're setting me up for 1-2 weeks of feeling like shit.

If you think you may have swine flu, you should seek medical attention.

I've finally broke through this infection.

Nose has all dried up, to the extent that I can't smell. Nothing to worry about though, its common for me with viral respiratory infections.

I still get the headaches but tylenol takes care of that.

The swine flu is just another "panic" epidemic.

I doubt its actually "THAT" deadly. Mexico simply has poor health care and most of the people who died were probably in poor health to begin with.
