Rather than post in the 70 bajillion post long thread on swine flu, I made this one so people can discuss possible or actual school closures. Shit seems to be getting close to hitting the fan.

Meanwhile, you can take a few steps to maintain your health and the health of others:

1. Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze and dispose of the tissue in the trash. If you don't have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve, not your hands.

2. Wash your hands frequently with soap and water or use alcohol-based hand sanitizers.

3. Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth since germs are spread in this way.

4. Avoid contact with individuals who have flu-like symptoms. Flu is spread from person to person by coughing and sneezing.

5. If you get sick, stay home. Limit contact with others to avoid infecting them.
