The pieces are coming together...

Well... it looks like our band, Skultamaphon is finally getting off the ground. After 4 years of dicking around we've finally got off our ass and nailed a good gig. That's next Saturday...
Well, I've known a couple of the guys from Seventh Gate for a while now, they are a pretty well established metal band with a fanbase all up the east coast. I was chilling with them last night, and they said since we finally got our shit together, they want us to go on tour with them... starting sometime after January....!!!

My dream has been accomplished. :grin: I will soon be a travelling musician. Fuck the money, fuck the fame, I don't care about any of that.. playing my music in front of appreciative fans is the most gratifying thing I have yet found.(besides love)  I can now die happy.

I'm not going anywhere... when we go it will only be for like 2 weeks at first.. and even then I will probably still find a way to get online every other day or so.. I need my Shroomery fix..

congratulations shroomism, it's good to hear some fellow shroomerite musicians are getting out there and getting some exsposure. BTW i can imagine how you must feel, about to be going out on tour and all, it's something i've always wanted to do. It's one of my main goals as a musician to go out on the road, and play shows every night to people i dont know. I really want to do it soon!!

Right now our band has one "tour" to date, which was actually just us playing to shows on to consecutive days...But we didnt get to go home inbetween! so it's a tour right!?  :tongue: we called it our "will play for beer and food tour" and even thought about making t-shirts with the two tour dates on them, just for personel amusement... :crazy: Still though, i'd like to do an actually tour when we're ready..that'd be awesome!

Best of luck to you on your upcoming shows, i hope you get some good exsposure and have some fun.
