I've been playing on a borrowed Bass Guitar for awhile...

... and have really taken a liking to it.

I think I'm going to invest in one of my own.
How much would you reccomend spending on a first Bass, Amp, and patch cord?

As much as you wanna spend ?

If your just starting out, I'd just get a 15watt prac amp, and be able to spend a little more on the bass.

I can highly reccomend a 'Washburn XB100' their cheap, sound decent and will take a fair beating.
