OMG THE MF'IN CUBS

So with the Cubs ridiculous trouncing of the Astros last night it seems quite logical to ask the question...

Why would Major League Baseball even force the Cubs to play their entire 162-game schedule, when the forgone conclusion of the season will be a Cubs Division Title?

The answer, of course, is that they need to raise the money to pay for the inevitable World Series victory parade through downtown Chicago.

I think it's so they can get their fans absurdly excited just to be let down in the first round of the playoffs.

Sounds about right.  I would actually love to see the Cubs win though.  Now that my Sox have won twice, I take pity the Cubs and their fans.

Oh I don't think so.  They're doing what any hard working self reliant team should do, which is go out and build it right back up.  Hopefully while crushing the Red Sox beneath their bootheels.

If you were a REAL baseball fan you'd know that Tek uses waterproof mascara.  Cmon now. 

Plus, I think he was wearing the mask as a precaution.  All those needles Arod used, he's probably carrying Hep C or some shit.

On Baseball tonight they said the Cubs are the most sure thing for winning a division title, they also said that Cubs fans usually feel optimistic this time of year.  Wonder if the Cubs fans will be expecting to lose when the playoffs arrive and watch their team fold under the pressure.

Fucking Gregg, blows his second save opportunity.  I liked him when on Florida and want to see him do well on the Cubs but one run leads in the 9th have to be saved.

If that's the case, then Gregg isn't quite the asshole, is he?  Besides, you  got a real prime example of what a pitching douche Lou is.  3 pitchers in the seventh, 3 in the eighth, and leaves the clank in the outfield with a 1 run lead.  Lou pissed this away by thinking too much in one area and not enough in another.

Well, either way, I have to be rational 28 hours a day, when it comes to The Cubs, I turn that part of my brain off, it's just better that way. That said, it was Gregg's fault. He threw the pitch that got rocked. His crap was in the tube all day long. I'd hit off him.

You couldn't hit off me.  And Soriano is now and always has been prone to misjudging balls.  Sometimes he makes up for it with his speed but he misjudges shit.
I saw the inning on the highlights.  I think Gregg got no  help from his defense, including the game ending play at the plate.  If that inning is indicative of the Cubs defense it does not bode well for the perennial losers.
