I captured two bunnies!

I Captured two wild juvenile cotton tail bunnies in my backyard.  I'm going to relocate them a few miles away (where they won't get hit by a car or be eaten by the neighbor's cats).  It took me a good 2 hours of chasing them around my yard on and off, finally I captured them and they are doing well.  They are the size of tennis balls, and they're in a huge box right now that has a nest on one side (that they seem to prefer over everywhere else, probably scared).

They eat apples and clover like no other.  And they poop a lot.  :shocked:


Tomorrow the weather is warm (it's hailing outside right now though), so I'm going to relocate them tomorrow on a comfortable day for the bunnies.



That was right after I captured them, they're a lot less timid today and are exploring their temporary cage.




Keep in mind I'm not going to keep them, but I do have to relocate them, as our garden is taking some serious damage with bunnies around, and we've got both a beautiful redtailed hawk and the neighbor's cats that live in this area.

my bunny got murdered,

it was in its cage infront of the house,

and then it was cut in half,

true story unfortunately.
