Bruce Springsteen headliner, LOL

He shares nothing in common with Britney Spears, the man is a critical beast.  His music is well respected by critics and the public alike, Im not a huge fan of his music but I do enjoy the album Born to Run and such.  Shit the Village Voice voted Born in the USA the best album of the year when it came out

platinum albums

how can you not get the link?

I'm not a fan either, but I couldn't call the guy a hack. I agree he shouldn't be headlining a festival, mostly because people there would think of him as a "hack" just because it's not their taste, and because its not music to trip to.

But the guy is well respected in the business, and he's a working class hero to many.

Phish is my favorite band so I am going to Bonnaroo. But Rothbury is probably going to be a better all around festival this time. SCI getting back together is awesome. Can't wait.

The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:

From bondage to spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to selfishness;
From selfishness to complacency;
From complacency to apathy;
From apathy to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage.
